3) And lastly, and I think most importantly I was inspired by the Little Rock Nine and the roll of the kids - Queston, Trinity and Treanna.  I think Queston's "Freedom" character is a younger version of these students, just as Trinity is representing the girl from the Rockwell painting. But there is also an awesome quote by 15 year old Elizabeth Eckford that says, "I tried to see a friendly face somewhere in the mob. . . . I looked into the face of an old woman, and it seemed a kind face, but when I looked at her again, she spat at me." http://www.infoplease.com/spot/bhmheroes1.html And it made me think, 'This is what Mary is going through when she is sitting in the Church... Oh! new random thought - what if instead of just being "Mary" to represent Mary Magdalene (which I often find confusing... I think of the Virgin Mary.  I need the Magdalene.), what if she was called "Mary Claudette"?
